Almond Torte

The cake with a lot of history! This was originally known as the King Oscar cake, named after the King of Sweden and Norway. The team at The Daily Knead got together to pay homage to this decadent and luxurious macaron-like cake. Our version has layers of almond meringue, custard, slices of delicious strawberries, coated with toasted almonds and topped with whipped cream, fresh strawberries, and fresh flowers. Truly, fit for royalty! 

This cake will not be here for long, as she is part of our seasonal menu.
